We want you to book with confidence. This policy explains how changes, cancellations and refunds work when you book with us directly.
Your rate sets your terms
Each rate has its own deposit, payment and cancellation conditions. They are shown before you pay and repeated in your confirmation email, and they form part of your booking. Where this page and your rate conditions differ, your rate conditions apply.
Bookings made through another website, such as Booking.com or Expedia, follow that website's terms. Please contact them for changes or refunds.
Cancelling or changing a booking
- Please tell us in writing, by email to reservations@villaconsano.co.za, or through the link in your confirmation email.
- If you cancel within the free cancellation period of your rate, you pay nothing and any amount paid is refunded in full.
- If you cancel after that period, or do not arrive, the cancellation charge set out in your rate conditions applies. It is a reasonable charge that reflects the cost to us of holding the room.
- We will always try to move your dates instead of cancelling, subject to availability and the rate on your new dates.
- Leaving early does not normally reduce the price of the booked stay.
Refunds
- When a refund is due, we make it to the card or account you paid with. We do not refund in cash.
- We process refunds promptly once confirmed. Your bank decides how quickly the money then reaches your account.
- Non-refundable rates are cheaper because they cannot be refunded. The rate conditions make this clear before you pay.
If we have to cancel
If we cannot provide your stay for a reason within our control, we refund everything you paid for that stay in full, or move your booking to new dates if you prefer.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008. Accommodation booked for specific dates is not subject to the cooling-off period in section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, so your rate conditions govern cancellation.
